Initially from a military background serving with the army Intelligence Corps, Elaine was able to continue and develop her golf during her time in the forces.  This included representing the Army at both Tri-Service and Inter-Service Levels.

Elaine continued with her amateur golf career after leaving the Army and subsequently worked within a Training & Development environment in both the Private & Public Sector.  This included training probationary police officers and delivering management training.
 
Elaine commenced her training with the PGA in 2005 and continues to learn and develop her own skills sets by attending golf specific courses and working alongside some of Europe’s top golf coaches.

• Junior Club Champion 1988 - 1995 – Creachmore, Stranraer, Scotland
• South West Scotland Junior Champion
